Worried by the lack of visibility and popularity toward short works, Chalet Pointu do his best to point up the wealth and diversity of this film genre that is still unrecognized: Animation films, documentaries, experimental films, comedies, diaries, video-clips…
To achieve this goal, Chalet Pointu notably works with specialized magazines (Bref, Repérages) and with different festivals (Cannes, Clermont-Ferrand, Aix en Provence, Annecy, l’Etrange festival…).

Shot between 1965 and 1967, this underground documentary is a cult movie about the Hollywood in the 60's : actors, sport guys, LSD gurus, hippies, musicians, dancers, transvestites...
Considered as a "bizarre prophecy" by the critics, a "pro communist movie" by the CIA, a "glamorizing capitalism, too many cars and swiming pools" by the communists, forbiden in France in 1968 for appologies of perversities such as drugs and homosexuality, this film is a testimony of a society in a moral mutation.
With appereance by Frank Zappa, Sean Connery, Brigitte Bardot, Alfred Hitchcock, Ronald Reagan...
But also Bobby Beausoleil, member of the "Manson's family" today in jail for murder, Jay Sebring, victim of Charles Manson...
